Sleepovers!
So this past Thursday afternoon I was brainstorming about something fun for the girls to do since Kent was going to be out that evening for a meeting. I have been mentioning about a sleepover with our dear friends who just moved to Pittsburgh from Michigan. So I devised the plan…I called and asked if the girls could come spend the night Friday, but mentioned that I was not going to let my girls know ahead of time. A great surprise! The girls’ friend’s mom also decided to do the same for them as well.
I don’t know who was more excited…me or the girls!?!? When their friends arrived, they were so surprised and very excited! We baked cookies, rented a Blu-Ray, the girls did pedicures, and of course…tons of giggling! What a joy it was to have friends over!
