Kalea’s Cheer Banquet

This past Sunday we celebrated with Kalea at the completion of her first Cheerleading season! Each of the squads were honored with a beautiful afternoon at a local banquet facility with lunch and dancing. It was actually quite impressive! Each girl was acknowledged and given a gift (a bag with name embroidered on it & a pin); each squad performed the half-time rountine they did all season. There was a great spread of food and drinks, and then a DJ led the girls in about 2 hours of dancing!

I loved seeing Kalea with her friends! And a few of Madalyn’s friends were there as well, so she was happy too!

My mom (Nana) had a Tigers cheer uniform made for Kalea’s American Girl doll in celebration of Kalea’s first season. The girls made her feel a part of the squad that afternoon! I have a feeling that a basketball uniform might be on its way for another girl in our home :)
